Homemade Hand Soap!

I found this recipe online and decided to give it a try. It turned out pretty good so I'm sharing it with you, my blogging friends and family :)

There's just 5 easy steps:

Step #1 - Grate 1 Bar of Soap into a pot.
(I used IVORY because that's what the recipe called for and that's what we use.)

Step #2 - Pour 1 Quart of Water into the pot.

Step #3 - Stir & Boil until the Soap dissolves and it turns clear.

Step #4 - It should look similar to this. Pour into a Gallon sized container and Add more water to fill the gallon. Wait for 24 hours for it to thicken.

Step #5 - Now Pour into whatever dispenser you wish & Enjoy the CLEAN :)

I made this once years ago and it was my reason for being silly about homemade laundry soap. It has a texture that is a different one to adjust to, but hey. Think outside the box. I am quite happy with the homemade laundry soap thus far and homemade pump soap would beat the gooey soap dish.
Let us know how you like it. :o)

I think I'll try it again.

:o)
